ジャケット：非コーティングの見開きジャケット。四隅軽いスレ。下辺薄スレ上辺と背表紙は微スレのみでまずまずきれい。表裏はわずかな薄スレ／薄汚れレのみでまずまず。中面はとてもきれい。全体にややB+寄りながら、しっかりとした良品です。
ディスク：レーベルは片面のみ微細なヒゲがほんの少し。盤面はごくわずかな使用感のみの美品です。
マトリクスはA-3/B-4。これが初回のはず。
NEONオリジナル黒のパテントNo.入り穴開きビニール内貼り内袋付属。

エイメン・コーナーの発展形バンド、フェア・ウェザーのオリジナル唯一作「ビギニング・フロム・アン・エンド」。
中心人物はもちろんアンディ・フェアウェザー・ロウで、その後ソロ活動に転じ、エリック・クラプトンのサポートギタリストとしても活躍しているので有名ですね。
サウンドの基本は英国スワンプ、R&B的なもので、いかにも70年代初頭の英国らしさ満開の重厚な音作りが魅力です。ブラス入りが効いてますね。英国スワンプファンのみならず、この時代のブリティッシュロック好きにはたまらんものがあると思います。
"I Hear You Knocking"はデイヴ・エドマンズのヒットで有名なR&Bナンバーですが、エドマンズの本拠地でもあるロックフィールド・スタジオ録音でエドマンズその人がエンジニアリングを担当しています。
印象的なジャケットはキーフによるもの。RCAに新設されたプログレ系のNEONレーベルの第一弾アルバムでもあります。
強力推薦盤！

英国オリジナル盤。なかなかの美品です。
※ちなみに米盤は表裏（というか内外）が逆のジャケットデザインでした
